Hi, I’m Bellamy! Life is hard so let’s have a little fun? This colorful page will be a resource for resources that encourage creativity, boldness, and a dash of self-reflection. I’m going to let myself have some joy using bold colors and fonts and dipping into maximalist design (sometimes) AND I’ll be posting journaling prompts, event links, and cool projects that help you connect with modern BIPOC artists and creators. It’s gonna be great!
Bellamy Shoffner (she/they) is a queer solo parent, writer, artist, and advocate who specializes in fostering thoughtful connections and conversations within families and between communities. Bellamy has launched a number of distinct equity-centered initiatives, gatherings, and campaigns including publishing Hold the Line magazine, hosting a fresh foods drive, and the recurring month-long Kindness as an Action challenge.

Prompts and Projects
swapped out when the mood hits
Have you had recent conversations about consent and family members and how to navigate it all? Have you decided how you’ll intervene when a relative tries to make your kid(s) do something they don’t want to do?
Write
Write about what worries you have for the months ahead. What are three ways you can manage those worries? What can you do proactively to lessen the worry - or - how can you lean into the temporary nature of the worry?
